Wednesday 18th October at 2.30 pm

 A Circte Eight Film 'The Tales of Old Guildford'
The film narrated by Matthew Alexander,  explores a 1000 years of the Borough's
history, legends and folklore.


Wednesday  15th November 2O23 at 2.30

'Gwen John' a lecture by Tammy Ellis
An in-depth  insight into the fascinating life and works of this artist. This will
complement the Pallant House Gallery's exhibition viewed by some Friends.


Wednesday !7th January 2024 at 2.30

'Silk, Squalor and Scandal' a lecture by Daphne Jefferis
Daphne will explore the works and life of William Hogarth.

Wednesday February 21st 2024 at 2.30

'Valasquez-Prince  of Painters'  a lecture by Ronnie lreland
Ronnie will be talking about the life and works of this most importanl  t7c Spanish
court painter.

Wednesday March 20th 2024 at 2.30

'Singer Sargent  and Fashion'  a lecture by Olive Maggs
Olive will talk about this exhibition at Tate Britain and the life of the artist.


Wednesday April 17th 2024 at 2.30

The Friends AGM followed by 'The Wild Gardener, William Robinson' a lecture by Julie Verity
